These are the Spokane Anarchists. An actual cluster of active, intelligent and innovative young people. Willing to bring about change.
Will you stand up too?

i’ve got to say, im all for anarchism, but property damage draws all the wrong sorts of attention. Rosa parks, ghandi, harriet tubman all broke ILLEGITIMATE laws without damaging anyones property. I really believe in respecting others property whether its THE STATE’s law or not, and i expect others to do the same.
You guys make the rest of us look bad.

Kids at work to undermine the system that gave them the education and freedom to have these ideas - the ultimate paradox.
This reporter is a fat, fatuous twat. What side of the law do anarchists line up on? Anarchists do not respect the law, because the law is there to protect corporate criminals.
Why don’t we do stuff like this? Serious? Because Anarchy leads into killing of people.
I’m not exactly in favour of making an ass of myself by defacing a “beautiful” building.
Although, I’d like to see a world where it’s perfectly acceptable to destroy institutions that symbolise egocentric power.
Smashing up a starbucks does nothing to fix the problem. Don’t get me wrong, starbucks is evil, but your local starbucks shop is owned by a member of your community that invested their life savings into a franchise. They’re just trying to make a living to feed their family. If you want to go after starbucks, go to your local franchise and convince them to drop the corporate label. Promise them you will help support their local businesses in their battle against big evil corporations.
Define the enemy carefully; attck that which oppresses the people the greatest. Starbucks is not likely to be seen by the public as an oppressor whereas halaburton would. Robin Hood not Robespierre.
MJ We love you!!!!!

lol
I thought the report was surprisingly well balanced and fair to the anarchists. Not that it was perfect, I just had low expectations.
I grew up watching Spokane TV. I don’t think that adds anything to my understanding of the reporting, but I feel oddly compelled to mention it.
Starbucks are all corporate owned stores. They aren’t locally owned franchises, so, imnsho, fairgame.
im proud of KXLY4 for taking a refreshingly neutral stance, and presenting unbiased facts. When the history books are written, they will mention ASAP and FLAC when speaking of how the world was made better.
Having known Spokane and it’s brutal police and their run over you rough shod type of government system ..I can easily you tell those kids are being very easygoing in their demands..For those of you who do disagree with their methodes..Well you shouldn’t worry and you may rest assured the SPD will find ways to turn most of them into criminals before too long anyway…With any luck some of them will be YOUR kids and you’ll get a first class shot at seeing Spokane style civil justice in action…
I hope you enjoy what your tax dollars will do to your kids as you helplessly watch….
Here’s a helpfull hint..In Spokane money talks.
